Recognizing the difficult circumstances and decisions that are a part of any Loss
Mitigation Department, ValueNet offers several products to handle this specialized
area. For loans in default, ValueNet can provide an accurate valuation which utilizes
local MLS data in a number of different formats. ValueNet loss mitigation reports
can be done with or without an inspection of the property; and with or without active
listings and competing properties. The reports can also be customized to provide
market value or an estimate of quick sale value.
For Loss Mitigation or default scenarios, ValueNet can be used:
• As an alternative to a BPO – ValueNet appraisals are completed by a local
appraiser.
• As a second opinion of value on REO properties at a price point below many
BPOs and appraisals.
• As a reconciliation tool when trying to resolve disparity between multiple
valuation estimates.
• As a fast and inexpensive valuation to be used in proposing loan restructuring.
