Our Appraisers
Unlike some desktop valuations that utilize an in-house expert, ValueNet incorporates experienced, specially-trained local appraisers, who are involved in the valuation process from start to finish. After researching the property and comparable sales, our appraisers select comparables, which are analyzed by both the appraiser and the ValueNet system. After validating and reconciling all available market data, our appraisers place a value on the property. Once a value has been determined, our review staff does a final quality control check of the ValueNet report prior to delivery to our clients.
Fraud Management/HVCC
ValueNet appraisers conduct a three-year sales history on every order. Separating a loan officer and appraiser through a centralized appraisal management process ensures that we catch suspicious transactions while data analysis provides additional fraud management. The separation of loan officer and appraiser meets the requirements of the new HVCC guidelines.
